MBA Summit 2012, Tokyo

The Catalyst “MBA & Executive’s Networking Event” was held Thursday, February 9th at Legato in Shibuya with special guest speaker, Linkedin’s Head of Operations, Catherine Porter.

This event was not only the largest in the country but quite possibly the most effective event for those attending, as MBAs were not only growing their networks to multiple MBA programs around the world but also met C-level and HR executive’s from top tier organizations in Japan. Moreover, Organization’s executives that are in attendance were networking with experienced MBA talent from the finest MBA programs in the country and programs from around the world.

Linkedin’s Head of Operations, Catherine Porter was speaking on “Optimizing your Network to Maximize Opportunities”. Catherine Porter led the launch of LinkedIn in Japan (strategy, marketing, business development, operations, and product recommendations) and has previously worked at IT giants, such as Google and Oracle. She has lived and worked in Japan for many years, and has an in-depth background in new business development, marketing and communications, market research and Japan
operations.
